A funeral is set for the Carleton Place man whose body was found in the trunk of a burned-out rental car in Mexico last October.
Daniel Dion’s funeral is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sacre-Coeur parish in Bourget.
Dion, 51, lived in Ashton Station, east of Carleton Place and was on a business trip in Acapulco.
Dion was the president of an environmentally friendly handbag company called ecopurse, which employed thousands of prisoners near Guerrero.
Mexican cops arrested Dion’s colleague, Hector Juan Figueroa, in connection with his death.
