Procrastinators can breathe a sigh of relief.
Canada Post will be making deliveries until 4 p.m. Friday, so there’s still time to mail Christmas gifts and greetings. Just choose the “Priority Next A.M.” option, the crown corporation said Tuesday.
“We’re making every effort to make sure that every greeting card and parcel will get delivered,” said Canada Post spokesperson Anick Losier.
And they’ve been working hard.
Their busiest processing day was last Thursday when postal workers processed about 33 million parcels.
Between November 14th and December 20th, Losier said 911 million pieces of mail were processed, compared to 892 million last year, an increase of 2.1%.
