Plumbers, restoration companies kept busy
Where Friday evening brought an intense rain that lasted five or 10 minutes, early Sunday morning it poured for several hours straight. More than a few homeowners awakened to find at least some water in their basement, or just as bad, their old roofing shingles weren’t up to the job, and water found its way in.
